Captain M. T. SELIGMAN received his first Navy Cross for distinguished service in the line of his profession as Commanding Officer of the U.S.S.C. #272, engaged in the difficult and hazardous duty of sweeping for and removing the mines of the North Sea Mine Barrage.
Captain Seligman is one of the few who received the Navy Cross in each World War. He joined the Legion of Valor in 1962 and resided in Southern California. View Captain Seligmans’ Gold Star citation.
