LTC Walter I Berlin

LTC WALTER I. BERLIN, was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for extraordinary heroism on December 12, 1944, in Germany. He braved a hail of lead and climbed atop a tank to direct it to destroy a pillbox. He remained in his exposed position until all enemy emplacements were knocked out.

LTC Berlin was a member of the Legion of Valor since 1945. He resided in Florida.
