DONALD MUSHIK, a life member of the Legion of Valor since 1945, served with the 43d Division Artillery. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for extraordinary heroism on July 23, 1943, as a forward observer on Horseshoe Mountain, New Georgia, Solomon Islands. He accurately adjusted 14 artillery concentrations under extremely heavy fire.

Mr. Mushik was a life member.
