MAJOR GEORGE E. WAGONER was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for extraordinary heroism in action against the enemy on July 8, 1944 near St. Lo France.

Major Wagoner joined the Legion of Valor in 1945. He was a LIFE MEMBER and resided in Texas.
