CHARLES ANTHONY TOFURI SR., received his DSC while fighting with the 182nd Inf., Americal Division on Guadalcanal in January 1943 where he was wounded in action.

Mr. Tofuri had been a member of the Legion of Valor since 1961. He resided in Massachusetts.
