ALBERT U. HASSIG, served in the U.S.A. from Mexican Border Service in 1916, through World War I and into World War II. He rose to the rank of Captain of Infantry in World War I, having served with 358th Infantry, 90th Infantry Division and commanding CO “K” 358th. During World War II he served as Director of Shoreside Facilities in the Pacific arena. He is a recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross form the U.S.A. and the Croix de Guerre w/bronze star from France.
Mr. Hassig was a life member and resided in Pennsylvania.
