CAPT. CALUDE U. BISHOP, JR. was awarded the Navy Cross and Croix de Guerre by General DeGaulle in Paris for extraordinary heroism between Pontoreon & Dol, France in August of 1944.

CAPT. Bishop was a life member and joined the Legion of Valor in 1946. He resided in Maine.
