EDWARD C. BURNSHAW Was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for actions at Oberluken, Germany, on February 19, 1945. Although seriously wounded by an exploding land mine, he continued to direct artillery fire from his cannon company for 13 hours.

Mr. Burnshaw joined the Legion of Valor in 1945 and was a LIFE MEMBER. He resided in Pennsylvania.
