COL Herman A Brocopp

COL HERMAN A. BROCOPP, was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for action in World War I as Captain, Infantry Reserve, Company I, 363rd Infantry, 91st Division AEF. On October 31, 1918, near Waereghem, Belgium, he repeatedly led his platoon forward in the face of severe enemy fire. His command captured two enemy guns of an enemy field artillery battery. Information in the file indicates that he was appointed Adjutant General of North Dakota in 1933 and held that position for some time.
