Horace O Bright

HORACE O. BRIGHT, for extraordinary heroism in action at Belleau Bois, France, on October 27, 1918. Lieutenant Bright, although severely wounded, remained in command and established a line of resistance which withstood continuous attacks at a critical point and actively directed operations until relieved by another officer three hours later. He had been a member since 1931.
