CAPTAIN M. C. SIBITZKY, was awarded the Navy Cross for extraordinary heroism in connection with diving operations while serving on the USS Falcon. He made 20 dives on the USS Squalis which sank off Portsmouth, NH in May 1939.

Captain Sibitzky joined the Legion of Valor in 1945, and resided in Washington State.
