THOMAS D. POLLARD, received his decoration in 1943, while leading the charge of his platoon in successful attacks on enemy positions on New Georgia, Solomon Islands. During four seperate battles he was credited with numerous kills allowing successful advances of two companies against enemy forces.

Mr. Pollard is a life member.
