Seeking Our Next National Adjutant

The experts say it usually takes at least three requests before receiving a response when asking for assistance. Well, I hope I can do it in two issues before a member volunteers to take over the National Adjutant duties.

We need new blood, someone who is hip with Facebook, Twitter, and the other modern methods which will help entice younger eligible recipients to join our ranks. WWII, Korea, and Vietnam veterans are all showing our age so it would be great to see one of our recent heroes step forward to take the reigns in this great organization.

This subject will be on the November Board of Directors agenda and, if there are no interested members, action will be taken to open the door for a friend of the Legion of Valor to take the reigns. It is a very rewarding position and I will continue to seek a replacement so that, if anything happens to me, our organization will continue to insure that recipients of the highest battlefield awards are never forgotten.

Third Request

Phil is a wonderful man who has contributed so much to the LOV. It has been an honor to work with him over the years. He needs someone to step up and take over the reigns as National Adjutant. Please show your appreciation for all that he has done and help him locate a suitable replacement.

Thank you,

Lori
